How did you meet?

Long story short, I was celebrating my birthday at Midletons Bar & Grill and noticed RL as soon as he walked in. I told my friend how handsome I thought he was, but noticed he was with a girl. I told my friend to ask the girl if she was his girlfriend and come to find out it was his cousin, Jacqueline. RL was doing his own thing at the time, so I figured I would wait for him to talk to me (which never happened) so I eventually ended up leaving. When I walked to my car he FINALLY ran across the parking lot and came up to me to ask for my number. Shoutout to Jacqueline and my brother in law, Logan for helping a sista out lol

What first attracted you to each other?

Tanesia: Initially, his looks. As I got to know him I fell in love with his kindness, selflessness, the fact that he makes me feel safe and secure and his amazing sense of humor.

RL: Her looks. But then day by day her character and heart slowly showed me how pure she was and made me fall deeper and deeper in love each day

What is your favorite memory with each other?

Tanesia: Our trip to Colorado where I had the most beautiful engagement on NYE, went skiing for the first time and got to spend time with my future family! 

RL: My favorite time together was probably when we went to Universal Studios in California. We spent a good five days enjoying our time site seeing, celebrating a birthday, and seeing her old friends. As expected, it got a lil wild ;)

What is your favorite way of spending time together?

We both enjoy traveling and dinner dates, never a dull moment. 

How did you get engaged?

On New Year’s Eve, up in the Colorado mountains, a path of rose petals led down to a river clearing where a circle of candles surrounded a heart shaped outline of petals. In the middle stood this handsome tall glass of water (me, RL). All the planning and set up was done by the audience, my family. 

Why did you decide on a destination wedding?

We haven’t traveled out of the country together yet and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to do so, in a beautiful place, with the people we love most to witness our union.
